Many social movements have seen some of their activists abandon their cause and join the enemy. This needs to be investigated more in depth, in order to prevent it. According to Neil Harvey, Sergio Zermeño calls this "buropolítica" (the absorption of people into the high spheres of bureaucracy) and Gramsci has written about "transformism". With a friend from Bolivia (El Alto) who is sociologist, maybe Neil Harvey as expert for Mexico and other people we could form a research agenda to investigate this phenomenon.
