- Geld für "standing forests" sollte 50% direkt an Dörfer ausgezahlt werden und 50% an die Regierung, um damit Projekte, die Drivers reduzieren zu finanzieren.
- Markt ja, aber Menschenrechts-Garantien auf den Käufer übertragen - wenn Menschenrechte verletzt werden, können die Leute vor Ort bei den Eigentümern der Kohlenstoff-Zertifikate Kompensation einklagen. Es könnte eine Art Gerichtshof eingerichtet werden, den lokale Bevölkerung anrufen kann, wenn ihre Landrechte missachtet wurden. In Abwesenheit einer einvernehmlichen Lösung, wird das Projekt abgebrochen und die CO2-Kredite gecancelt. Richtlinien sind sowohl nationale Gesetze, als auch internationale Konventionen (Menschenrechte, Indigene Rechte)
